Description

Cathejell Lidocaine C is a lubricant used for catheterization with local anesthetic and disinfectant properties, to be administered into the urethra before inserting a catheter or other medical instrument.

Key features of the gel include:

  • Pro­vides relief through its anes­thet­ic action due to the pres­ence of lido­caine;
  • Acts as an anti­sep­tic with chlorhex­i­dine con­tent;
  • Begins to take effect with­in 5 min­utes of appli­ca­tion;
  • Min­i­mizes the risk of iatro­genic injuries;
  • Intend­ed for catheter­i­za­tion, prob­ing, endoscopy, and cys­toscopy;
  • Safe for use in chil­dren and oncol­o­gy patients;
  • Free from preser­v­a­tives and parabens;
  • Ster­il­ized with steam.

Each gram of gel contains 20 mg lidocaine hydrochloride and 0.5 mg chlorhexidine dihydrochloride.
